With Mark Buehrle out of action, Jon Adkins gets the call Thursday in Scottsdale against the Giants. Adkins, who was hit hard during his last trip to the mound Sunday in Tempe, still is in the mix for the final spot on Chicago's 25-man roster. Adkins is 0-2 in five games this spring.
