Why are the flags at half staff?

Featured Replies

Delete this, if it has to do with another thread that's on the front page. I just noticed all the flags on campus are at half-staff. I don't know if this is something national or just something locacl.

Earthquake maybe, I dunno. Maybe someone prevalant in Indiana died?

Perhaps because two Big Ten Teams are in the Final 4, one from either side and not from Indiana?

punching my ticket to hell when we find out the real reason . . .

I don't know if this is it or not, but I saw this on google news this morning

Theyve been half staff here since January. I think its because our old fire chief, my grandpa died though. Not sure though.

There have been a few times when flags in the northern Lake County area have been lowered to half staff because of soldiers who died over seas. Some just out of high school.
