Rivera 2nd blown save?

Featured Replies

Mariano Rivera blew another save today against the bosox with some help from A-rod's error. Final score 7-3.

He's only a one pitch pitcher, and the Red Sox have seen him 8239832983983 times in the past 2 seasons. They'll eventually have to figure him out, even if they're a bunch of idiots.

Plus I think Mo hurried back a little this year from arm pains. I bet in a few weeks he'll look like the Rivera of old. In the meantime get ready for Sportcenter to give this more coverage than the Pope funeral gets from cnn.

ESPN got it covered even with the smallest details.

that's sounds about right, except you got your facts wrong. the Red Sox have seen him 23 times in the past 2 seasons, not 8239832983983. no big deal, though.

Yeah wtf is up with him.

At least today anyways he was missing spots and falling behind hitters on a consistent basis. Its hard to get guys out no matter how good your stuff is when that is the case. And it wasn't like the Red Sox were hitting the ball real hard against him. Plus, if A-Rod makes that play the Yankees are at worst tied going into the bottom of the 9th and that was a potential double play ball that would have ended the game.

He PROBABLY would have gotten out of it, if Pay-Rod didn't make the error. Who knows, though.

Watching Payrod make that error had me laughing like crazy. He looked like he was juggling out there.

LOL!

Baseball Tonight picked up on that missing of spots with both him and Wickman. They made some pretty good points........and I got to see Konerko smoke that one off Wickman again. :cheers

Maybe we are beginning to see a few chinks in the armor known as Mariano Rivera. We'll see.

Rivera can't pitch against the Red Sox just like Pedro couldn't pitch against the Yankees. I wonder if Boston fans are chanting, "Who's your daddy?" to Rivera now.
