April 11, 200521 yr I didn't have the chance to see it this weekend, but was planning on seeing it sometime this week. Anyone seen it? Good? Bad?
April 11, 200521 yr The best part of the book was when Hornby captured how he grew up to be obsessed with football(soccer). The relationship with his father and the love story between he and Arsenal(the football team in the book) is something I doubt is represented by anything more than a montage in the movie. That was what made it a great book.
April 11, 200521 yr I am kind of surprised that it is getting a lot of good reviews. For some reason, I thought it would suck. I may go check it out Wed when I have an off day.
April 11, 200521 yr Is it on Comedy Central at 2pm on a rainy Saturday afternoon with nothing else on but informercials and college sports? Cuz that's when I think I'll end up seeing this movie, and not before then.
