2005 Charlotte Knights Season Preview

By Jason Gage

April 12, 2005

The Charlotte Knights are revamped for 2005 with the two best prospects in the organization a-top the roster (Brian Anderson and Brandon McCarthy). Charlotte failed to make the playoffs last season, mainly in part to injuries to their veterans that left the club in a pinch down the stretch. In fact, injuries got so bad at one point last year, that rarely did they have more than two players available in the pen. MORE

I caught a decent amount of errors and fixed them. There are probably more as I was in hurry while reading it. :P Well, not really, I was too busy getting distracted by you on AIM. :rolly

Josh Fields will be the 2nd righty set-up man in the pen after posting solid numbers in Birmingham. Fields has been a worhorse out of the pen ever since joining the organization and there is no reason to think that will change.
Through five games the Knights infielded has consisted with Jorge Toca (1B), Felix Martinez (2B), Jamie Burke (3B), and Pedro Lopez (SS).

Keep em coming YAS.

That's all I found. All in all, a good write up.
