April 13, 200521 yr Benitez and now Kolb join the club. I can't remember a season where this many big name closers all blew saves so early AL East: Rivera Batista AL Central: Shingo Wickman AL West: Guardado Cordero NL East: Looper Cordero Kolb NL Central: Hawkins NL West: Hoffman Benitez
April 13, 200521 yr QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 02:20 AM) Dodgers-Brazoban Diamondbacks-Lyon Red Sox-Foulke Foulke's wasn't a BS, technically -- the Red Sox were behind by a run when he entered the game. The other 2 did blow a save, but I wouldn't call either one a "big name closer" yet (especially Lyon). Btw, I'm stoked -- I spelled Yhency Brazoban correctly on my first try. You can begin exalting me now.
April 13, 200521 yr Speaking of Brazoban -- nasty stuff. I was watching him on the night he blew the save vs. 'Zona, but man -- he's got a filthy fastball. Great movement with velocity. Brazoban to Gagne...
April 13, 200521 yr Well thanks to the Kittens' overrated bullpen the Twins won tonight. Urbina pitched like s*** in the 8th blowing the one run lead, and Percival wasn't good in the ninth losing the game.

April 13, 200521 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 10:05 PM) Dmitri's still not worried. Why would he be, he knows the truth--it's coming down to the Tigers and Indians for the central title, period. :banghead
