Yesterday when I went over to souvenier booths I noticed the main jerseys being featured were Pods, Rowand, Kong, and Mark B .

 

Umm they are all white.

 

It seems that our image since 2001 has been diverse, have been Frank (well duh) , CLee, Maggs, and Marky.

 

Is this a coincidence. Or am I just over anaylyzing?

 

It does not matter to me(mainly cause I am white). It was just an observation.

 

I was just bringing it up because do you guys think it could effect our minority fanbase?

 

Do you guys think Frank is still the face of the sox?

I think Konerko is the image of the Sox right now. With Frank being injured and all. When he comes back and does well he may get it back.

 

I don't think it will effect our minority fanbase because we still have: Iguchi, Everett, Dye and even El Duque and Contreras. While they are new and are not stars, they are still liked by fans.

Im a sox fan , it is normal for me to v=over analyze. (at least I can point out my flaws)

They are the only team in professional sports that has a minority for a coach/manager and a GM. Plus their lockerroom is a virtual UN of players. Off the top of my head there is the USA, Venezuela, Cuba, Japan, Domican Republic right now, not to mention Panama and Mexico last year, all being represented in 25 men.

I much prefer the all black jerseys to the white ones. Why? Cause I think they look better. Anyone who reads racial crap into this is WAY to sensitive.
