My girlfriend who's uncle molested her years ago.. was indicted (sp?) today!!!

 

 

He wants to plea, they are refusing. He's going to jail baby!!!

That is probably the best news I've heard all day.

 

What an amazing woman your friend must be to stand up to the man who did that to her--and in turn help other survivors.

 

I admire survivors that report more than just about anyone else.

I don't know how she did it.. I may act tough.. but I think I would crawl in a hole and die if faced with something like this.

That's awesome! I remember reading that thread when you told all of us about this issue. It was very sad and I'm glad to see a little bit of good came out of it.

I'm happy you received this good news Steff. But, I have to say that the way your original sentence in this thread is worded, it sounds like your girlfriend was the one indicted.

His time is coming very quickly... If he was looking for a plea, and the DA wouldn't touch it, they have an awesome case.

Me too, I was thinking : WHAT??!!....How the Ef did that happen? lol.

I comend your friend on her bravery!! Hopefully this lets her heal some.

He was taken into custody last night..

 

She called me about 9 and we talked until the wee hours of the morning.. I am just speechless about all of this. I've never been touched by anything like this.. nothing even close. I could never before imagine what something like this might do to a person.. a family.. a community. It's all just so sad. I just don't understand. I struggle with that now..

 

Friends, strangers, teenagers, parents, those I interact with off this board.. and even those of you that think I am a total b****... I said a little prayer for all of you and anyone and everyone in your lives last night.. a prayer that none of you will ever have to encounter the evil that has touched my friend and her families life.
