I'm still very dissapointed with how Dye and Rowand have hit so far this year.

Rowand's just swinging at every pitch right now, even if it's a slider 2 feet off the plate. He'll stick destroy lefty pitching, but his effort against righties this season has been poor.

Show some f'n range Crede. Two plays he could have made have resulted in a lot of trouble for Garcia.....who has still looks to not have anywhere close to his best stuff (again).

Is Garcia missing his spots again?

Good job by Garcia keeping the Royals to one run that inning.

No, he just doesn't have very electric stuff. He's not fooling hitters with anything.

Trammell pulls Maroth after 75 pitches and Kyle Farnsworthless blows the lead in the 7th.

T. Hunter has 10 steals already.

Technically he stole 9 bases, and one Joe Crede foot. ;)

Tigers got the lead though. Percival has looked awful this year, but he's been amazing against the Twins in his career.

Detroit 4, Minnesota 3 - bottom 8th, Tigers still have 1st & 2nd, 1 out & Da Meat Hook up

Big chance for Iguchi to blow this game open. Hernandez has been wild this game, Pods has 3 walks already.

Great AB by Iguchi to not swing at some tough sliders after being down in the count. Drive the ball to RF Carl!

Ugh, terrible AB by Everett. Two straight AB where he has made weak outs on the first pitch with guys in scoring position.

0-6 with bases loaded this year

0 for 7.

Those last two AB's were disgusting, reminded me of past years.

Someone might want to tell Everett that when the pitcher walks 2 straight batters, including one with the bases loaded, you might not want to bail him out by swinging at the first pitch. Huge opportunity wasted there.

no chat?

DET 4, MIN 3

going to the 9th

No one has mentioned it yet, but Konerko is just as guilty as Lee and Ordonez were in the past of swinging out of his ass with men on base. Konerko has basically become a homer or pop up man.

he's hitting so well, I'd have a hard time getting on the guy with the hot bat, but you're right bad decision.

Fat Matt is up.

...but some of us have noticed.

In game update -- Morneau homers in the ninth, 4-4 tie. f***ing Percival.
