In game update -- Morneau homers in the ninth, 4-4 tie.  f***ing Percival.

:headshake :fyou

Looking at Gameday, that looked like a f***ing blast to right-center.

He got all of it, no mistake about it. That kid is good.

Oh, and I'll join ya -- thanks a lot, Percival. Six million a year my f***ing ass... :fyou

Percival looked like s*** last year. I wanted the Cubs to sign him to a big contract this offseason for that very reason. Angels fans must love having K-Rod as their closer now instead of Percival. We got very lucky to miss facing Morneau for 5 games already this season, he's a big power guy.

Ya know, we're playing pretty well, but 10-6 is not bad either. The Twins are only gonna get better, we will too, but the Twins ain't goin' anywhere.

Getting Silva back so soon might have saved the Twins season.

c'mon Dye

DET 4, MIN 4 to bottom 9th. :puke

How does Dye ever get hits with his swing? I know he has 3 homers this season, but he doesn't get a lot of bat speed it seems as he swings all arms. Also, I remember him hitting the ball a lot more to right field in the past.

Is someone else injured for the Twins?

Again Dye looks like a waste out there. I say let Gload get a few games out in RF, light a fire under Dyes stale ass.

They got Morneau back tonight. Only injured guy is Balfour, but he's not a main contributor on the team by any means. Their pen is just fine without him.

I don't have anything else to say about Dye and Rowand, this is awful.

Rowand's swing is awfully mechanical right now. Every swing is the same, no matter what type of pitch it is.

Everthing about the way his body moves looks like he's half-assin' it. At the plate, running the bases and on defense. Just lazy looking. :huh

Exactly why Jermaine is struggling. When he goes good, he hits the ball the other way. He's just not right right now. He'll get it together soon.

A scary thought is Rowand and Dye having to face Cubs pitchers. I'd be shocked if they hit the ball once during a 6 game series.

he's lost.

I still say sit his ass and get Gload in there for a couple of games, he is itching to play and could bring some intensity and quality AB's whereas Dye is just loafing around out there.

Hopefully I don't jinx it, but with this wind tonight, I'd much rather have Dye in RF though than Timo or Gload.

Yeah, Gload is a hack in RF...I'd feel more comfortable with Carl in RF...

Freddy settling down maybe.

No offense, but I don't think Carl would catch a single ball in RF tonight w/this wind. Just the thought of him in the outfield makes me cover my eyes.

what's Tony G hitting so far this year?

Yeah, it would be ugly, but Gload out there would be uglier, in my opinion.
