What's Bullard era?

Not as high as Ulacias. Bullard hasn't been as sharp, but he hasn't been bad either..I'd say mediocre and I hope he can get things back together and catch fire and make it up and dominate with the Sox.

The "C Maldonado" that was catching for the Barons.... it isn't Candy Maldonado that used to suck for the Cubs, is it?

No, it is Carlos Maldonado. He's 24 and was originally signed by Seattle. He was traded to the Astros in 2000. He has a little bit of AAA time, but most of the last three years have been spent at AA Round Rock. Has never played a high number of games so it looks like he has shared time about everywhere he has been (exception 116 games in 2000 in AA). That will work out because he needs to share time with Jonathan Aceves in Birmingham.

Yes. It was in the Koch trade. Humberto Quintero and Alex Fernandez along with Foulke and Johnson for Koch, Cotts, and the other guy.

Quintero and Fernandez were traded to San Diego for Jimenez towards the end of last year.

 

The Foulke deal involved Foulke, Mark Johnson, and Joe Valentine for Billy Koch, Neal Cotts, and Daylan Holt.
