Willie is one of the few players on the Sox who actually has a good hitting approach. He consistently works counts and gets ahead of pitchers. There are so many worse culprits in this game than Harris, yet people always blame him.

 

Only one person even talks about the fact Harris played SS the whole game, got a BB in a key situation, and has not really screwed the Sox offense this game.

 

Would it be better if he tried to go opposite field and just get on base, sure. But if he hits a double hes a hero.
