May 2, 200520 yr I'm still stunned that they refused to pay Lieber ( who had a 20-win season for them ) while he rehabbed but decided to pay Ryan Dumpster ( who had done jack s*** for them ) to rehab his arm instead. That was a disloyal move, in my opinion. If they were reluctant to pay anyone to rehab, that's one thing, but that's obviously not the case, since they paid someone else while injured. Dumpster's been decent for them, but Lieber when healthy is a helluva pitcher.

Losing Clement was big. He could've been a consistent 15 game winner had they givin him sufficient run support. Wood is overrated and not healthy. Prior is not healthy. Zambrano hasn't been as good as last year. Maddux always starts off slow. They have nobody that comes close as a replacement for Clement. And their bullpen is one of the worst in baseball. Not a surprise that they're team era is near 5. And yes, our staff is MUCH better than there's. Who would've thought that a year or 2 ago.
May 3, 200520 yr Dontrelle was a throw-in in the Clement trade, right? I've trying to figure that one out. Clement/Alfonseca for Tavarez/Willis?
