Remind me when I compared those guys to the best pitcher to have ever played the game?

My memory fails me.

Arguably the best pitcher to have ever played in the game.

His career WHIP of 1.13, while very good considering he started 815 games, is not completely and utterly dominant. And, while he won 511 games, the most of all time and an unbreakable mark, he has also lost the most games of all time too. When you pitch 906 games, start 815 games, and throw 749 career complete games, you're going to win and lose a lot of games, period.

I could find pitchers that one could argue that are better than Young with ease, so to say that he is the drop dead best pitcher of all time is completely wrong.

(and I know they have the pitcher of the year award named after him...that means absolutely nothing to me, quite honestly. This is one case were statistics can prove me right)
