I'm really not a big music at all, but the CD's I do have are all over the place. I think a thing like this will last me at least through college. EDIT: Like I said -- Beatles, DMB (and not all of it either), and some random stuff, which is few and far between. I'm not really a music fan. I bought a FM Transmitter but if you still have a cassette transmitter from your cd player, you can plug that into your headphone jack. jackie hayes Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 Btw, I should say -- even though I love my iPod, I think you should check out the Rio model that's about the same capacity as the iPod Mini (don't know the name, sorry). How are you trying to connect it? (usb? firewire?) Mine had a problem w/ usb 1.1 -- so I went on a hunt for a firewire adapter, and THEN it worked. But as Soxnbears says, it's important to follow the instructions. (Really -- some details that you might think are picky will actually make a difference in the setup. Do it in iTunes, it'll sync up the next time you hook up the iPod. If you're connected to the internet when you burn the cd, it'll fetch the tracklisting from...forgot the company name, but there's some company that provides this.
