No more Jose Valentin, no more Paul Edinger, and :pray no more Eddy Curry.

Grant me this one wish, gawd. Remember when I asked for that 1985 Topps Baseball card set and I never got that s***?

You owe me big time, holmes.

I got a whole dealer box in the early 90s.

A whole case of dealer boxes of '85 topps was in the back of a closet at a house that my friend moved into.

:headbang

Edinger is gone. Bears fans should be happy. Brien has one bad game in his career and that was last year's playoff game. He's still a damn good kicker though and better than the declining Edinger.

Was`sup, holmes.

Yeah, I'm well aware.

Just not something I think of when referencing God, not that I do for that matter. I try to avoid using religious references. Just a personal preference, I guess. :gosox3:

I think it is homes - short for homeboy.

i always thought it was homes, like kind of short for homie.. or somesing... :huh

Edit: Damn you knightni!! :banghead :P

homes

Derived from the French word "homme", meaning man. Sames as homes, homie, and holmes

French: un brave homme

English translation: A good (decent) man

Urban usage: Wass'up homes?

I have Bound By Honor: Blood In, Blood Out on DVD, although I forgot to mention it in the DVD thread that we had in the SLAP board.

I love that movie.

American Me is too depressing, albeit a good flick.

2 bad games

He missed 2 PAT's with the Vikes against the Bills in 01 I believe, costing them the game.

I remember that game very well. I laughed a lot.

Rasheed Wallace is the best thing ever to look up when browsing urban dictionary.

This morning on Mike & Mike they said Edinger over the past 2 season has averaged about 68% and Brien has averaged around 85%...damn good upgrade....

Terrible signing.

Really? Because nobody is worse than Paul Edinger. We needed to do something, anything.

I just posted that because I wanted to see people's reactions.

But seriously on Brian, anything further out than 40yards, he's going to struggle to make.
