I trust Cliff Politte just as much almost... he has given up a couple of runs but with that 98 mph fastball he has shown sometimes and with way he is pitching i have complete confidence in him.

 

 

It just pisses me off that in a middle relief situation he'll just keep bringing in cocks and let Politte ride the bench. There's no way that Cotts should have seen action in that last Baltimore game after getting slapped around the night prior.

That inning was one of the best jobs of pitching out of a jam in recent times. I wouldn't be suprised to see ANY pitcher give up at least one more run there, but Jon held his ground. That inning was simply amazing.
