May 20, 200520 yr It all depends on the pitcher. Read Pods interview on basestealling, he said there is only one catcher that can alter his running, and that is IRod.
May 20, 200520 yr I'd rather have Blanco's weak bat in the lineup than Barrett's bat. I know Blanco has a great arm so Pods will have to be on the top of his game. But if Pods can steal on I-Rod, he should be fine running on Blanco.
May 20, 200520 yr Pods was running on I-Rod against Detroit. No reason to think he won't do it against Blanco.
