June 12, 200520 yr Alright computer nerds, time to come out in force. Having never expierenced any problems with my media player in the past, I have absolutely no idea where to begin. Anytime I attempt to use it (i.e. for MLB.tv or any other streaming video) I have this pop up: Windows Media Player Plug-in Dynamic Link Library The plugin preformed an illegal operation. You are strongly advised to restart Navigator. WTF!!! I don't even have Navigator. Please, please help--it's really appreciated.

June 12, 200520 yr Try using ITunes for music and quicktime for videos. Edited June 12, 200520 yr by chimpy2121
June 12, 200520 yr QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 12:28 PM) Is there a way to set that as the default media player? Sure. Just open up RealPlayer, then tools > preferences > content > media types. You can select it to play everything if you wish. If you would just like to use RealPlayer to watch MLB.tv, just hit preferences in the MLB.tv window (if you can get this far with your current error), and then select RealPlayer as the default viewer.
June 12, 200520 yr I'd put it in the recycling bin first. Then, I'd go set program access and defaults. Then I'd add the new files, which should give you a brand spankin new Windows Media Player. I hate real player, that thing blows too. What I like the most is Dell Juke Box by Musicmatch..

June 12, 200520 yr QUOTE(Goldmember @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 12:43 PM) real player sucks. I hate Real Player too, but it works better than Windows Media on MLB.tv.
