Suddenly, firefox is not working on this forum

Featured Replies

Hey all, sorry this is probably the wrong place to post this....but my firefox browser is no longer working anywhere on soxtalk.com and I'm not sure if it's a problem on this end. It's working everywhere else, just not on soxtalk. It brings up a pop-up window and prompts me to open "soxtalk" by choosing an application. I've checked this with a couple of other users and they've got the same problem.

I think there is just some board issues. I use IE and got that same message about an hour ago.

All seems fine now though

not with firefox it ain't

Yeah. I've got IE here at work and I got a warning message about a file named "index.php". I didn't have IE open it, rather had it saved to disk.

I have firefox at home so I'll be interested to see what happens there.

This makes me think it may have to do with your security settings in firefox.

That's just a guess though. :huh

neither work in firefox

Try This

Hideaway you are right – Firefox is still fragged. Earlier, IE, Firefox and Safari were all giving those errors, downloading thread links as php files, and a bunch of other wiggy s***. I PM'd Jason (who is probably at the heart of the problem) and told him we had ghosts in the machine.

I had the same problem with Firefox so I went onto IE typed in soxtalk.com then I copied the URL for the homepage that came up in the address bar and pasted it in the Firefox address bar. IT worked.

Yeah, I'm still f***ed on Firefox.

For somereason my bookmark didnt work earlier, but it worked if i typed it in, so i just deleted and remade the bookmark and it works now.

Do this, it should work.

Yeah, my bookmark was messed.... I just typed Soxtalk.com in the address bar, and now we're cool.

Both of those idx links fix it in FireFox on the mac.

Firesfox and soxtalk are working for me

go figure :huh

It seems the soxtalk.com url no longer works in Firefox. Instead you have to use the url of the soxtalk homepage.

Anything with the "idx" at the end f*** up for me...

I cant get back to the main page without retyping in Soxtalk.com

idx link finally worked for me. Thanks all.

safari was doing the same about an hour ago, all the fonts were smaller as well. Glad it seems to be working now, at least for me with Safari.
