July 16, 200520 yr Ed Farmer is telling stories from his playing days. So far, its included horror stories about playing in the Indians old stadium and about one about him eating a piece of a hot dog he found in his pocket. He also talked about how the Red Sox used to feed their players pizza after every game, keeping the pizzas warm with a dryer. You don't get this everyday, folks.

July 16, 200520 yr QUOTE(Brian @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 06:39 PM) Wish we could get some rain up here in Lake County. Grass is dry and brown. I have not cut my grass in over a month because it has all died basically.
July 17, 200520 yr QUOTE(qwerty @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 11:40 PM) I have not cut my grass in over a month because it has all died basically. Yeah same except for the shady parts where it still continues to grow.
July 17, 200520 yr Waaah. We haven't got rain in I don't know how long. All around us keeps getting it, but where we live, nothing.
July 17, 200520 yr QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 09:21 PM) Waaah. We haven't got rain in I don't know how long. All around us keeps getting it, but where we live, nothing. We hadn't had any until like Thursday. It's been extremely wet the past 2 summers, and now this one's the exact opposite.
