July 19, 200520 yr QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Jul 19, 2005 -> 12:05 AM) And now hermanson is hurt. But we have the ultimate savior Bobby Jenks on our team. Jenks has more potential to help us than Shingo wether you want to take off your Shingo pajamas and realize or not. Edited July 19, 200520 yr by WHarris1
July 19, 200520 yr QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Jul 18, 2005 -> 11:55 PM) I'm sorry but the Sox should pray that Shingo clears waivers. This was such a f***ing stupid move. WTF! HE HAD A BAD GAME AGAINST A TEAM THAT OWNS HIM! He had been improving steadily. Jenks is not an upgrade over Shingo no matter how much you want to thinks so. again, this wasn't about his outing on sat. against cleveland, jeeesh
July 19, 200520 yr I agree with the Sox thinking on this move. Shingo, as popular as he was, was a 36 year old free agent to be that was going be used as the last man in the bullpen. There is NO potential there of any kind. Jenks, while young and raw, just might develop into an All Star reliever someday. He does have that kind of potential. Edited July 19, 200520 yr by YASNY
