I miss Shingo too!

Kinda sad to see Shingo go. Here's an excerpt of a Suntimes article regarding the departure of Shingo. Let's see what Iguchi said:

 

"He was a teammate to me, and he was like my older brother,'' Iguchi said through an interpreter. ''And whenever I had a problem, something I didn't know or didn't understand about being new here, Takatsu was always there to help me out. He was like my friend.

 

''No, there was no talk of this. I would have liked it if me and Shingo could have gotten a championship together. It was more comfortable to be here with Shingo around. It's definitely a certain feeling of lonesomeness not having him here.''

 

This is what I have been afraid of. I wonder how Iguchi will react to this on the field?

He said it won't effect him and I doubt it does. Gooch is just a pro, he did his normal today getting scott over when he needed to. I'm sure Iguchi will miss Shingo a bit in the clubhouse but once he gets onto the field he'll be fine. I'm not worried about Tad at all.
