maggsmaggs
It lists the A's (Harden and Street,) Texas (Blalock and Teixeira,) Cleveland (Hafner and Martinez,) and Detroit (Bonderman and Shelton.) When I saw this I laughed that they would put Hafner and Martinez over Buehrle and Garland. ESPN is so stupid. Buehrle and Garland not only are pitchers, which is more important have better numbers for their positions than Martinez and Blalock. However, even if the Sox duo was there I would have still voted for the Texas duo. Edited July 25, 2005 by maggsmaggs
witesoxfan
Blalock has the most experience out of everyone of those players...IIRC, he came up in like 02/03. Buehrle and Garland both came up in 2000 and both became part of the rotation in 01, though Garland was only in the rotation half the season. maggsmaggs
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jul 24, 2005 -> 08:01 PM) Tribes duo are relatively new to the majors but they are really young studs like the other duo's If you go by age, Garland is 25 while Buehrle is 26. Martinez is 26 while Hafner is 28. The Sox duo is younger.

SoxAce
Harden and Street are hands down better than anyone on that list anyway.
