According to the New York Times, the Mets and Red Sox have cut the Devil Rays out of their trade discussions involving Manny Ramirez.

The Red Sox and Rangers reportedly discussed a deal that would have sent Manny Ramirez to Texas for a package including Alfonso Soriano and Adrian Gonzalez.
