When i first looked at that i thought it was some pac man thing

I never knew the M and B thing. It reminds me how when I was a kid, I always thought that old Expos logo spelled "elb" in lower case. It was only many years later that I became aware their logo was actually the letter 'M' and suddenly alot of things made sense.

 

Yah, I used to think it was "elb" as well. Had no idea what it meant. At one point, I was convinced that it stood for "Expos Le Baseball". You know, cause of the strong French contingent in Montreal.

One thing about the Expos old logo that alot didn't ever notice...its an M, E, and B..
