that link was a sad twin fan's attempt at salvaging a season. He's desperate...and it worked tonight. As far as my brother being a tool, that may well be true, but there's a sizable amount of people here that I'd quickly deem "tools" if it weren't for the mutual admiration/desperation for the white sox.

Why go to a troll and give him what he wants? Do you honestly think 3 out of 33,000 fans got into Rowands head? You dont think that Rawnds problem was that he was facing the reigning Cy Young award winner, and not that 3 teenagers in the outfield were yelling at him?

If I remember correctly, two guys who got new 3 year contracts the past off-season, Rowand and Uribe are currently failing to earn those deals.

guy no offense, but I've more than earned my "not a teen" status. The "coward" chants from the crowd while not something I'd do or liked happening to my team's player, was incredibly hilarious due to it's unfoundedness. Who yells "coward" at a baseball player? that's comedy. 3E8 gets it.

Well some things are worth reacting too & this is one of em!  Anybody poke remote fun at Walter, Jordan, or even in this case Arow is asking for it!  I am not sitting back on this stupid thread & can't believe that noone else has already busted his balls...

I guess the point didn't come across well... A twin's fan, who has nothing else to live for, called a baseball player, who the twin's fan doesn't know anything about, a coward. He didn't say, "Hey Rowand...I did your mom last night" or something that could easily be rolled off, he called rowand a coward. It's hilariously ridiculous. It's funny because it's a stupid and random thing to say. It's funny because it seemed to have worked. It's funny that silly sox fans don't see how innoucous the comment was supposed to be.

 

On a personal note, I saw the sox play the phillies a couple years back at the vet and I tried heckling Doug Glanville. He just looked back at me and my "GLAAAAANVILLEEE!" yell and looked honestly hurt. It was both humorous and convicting at the same time. I don't support yelling at the other team. I support yelling FOR your team.

 

That being said... Torii Hunter is a coward for not playing through his injury:)
