I'll take either Graffy or Miles. Jimenez...when struggling, like he is now, just plays with no heart, and he doesn't care about anything. And though Harris has good range at 2B...he sucks offensively.

 

If Graffy gets on 6 times a night like he did tonight....that'd make the answer a whole lot easier.

I voted for Graf after tonights game. I like how he played but wonder if he could start every day. I also like him as utility man. Just not sure right now heheh. Hopefully JM has more of a clue than I do.

I am taking Jimenez with Graffy playing against all lefties (Mainly replacing Jose, and will play a few against righties replacing Jimenez).

 

For those that want to bring up DJ's struggles, let me point out the fact that he is still our best leadoff hitter and the fact that during his only slump (He got out of that slump this past week) he was favoring an injured knee.

 

That is direct from the A's announcers who said Jimenez was hurt last week, but was playing through it.

I was just about to say that, Graffy started getting some clutch hits in a couple game stint last year, JM started him for a week or so and he started having a lot of 0 fer games, and he went back on the bench where he should be, he's one of the best utility guys in the game right now.

 

And Miles' ST number we're probably inflated, he's hitting in arizona, and against minor league pitching. I mean look at Stewart's ST number, he had a 2 era, and he blew up when he got up north. Could you imagine how we would all react if Miles got called up and hit .220?

This is why I'm the only other one who voted Miles. I can't say as I believe any of them are the answear. We often under-valued Ray and we're finally learning, hell I'd take Joey Cora back about now.

Miles has never hit above AAA, ST don't tell nothing...he can be a great 2B but in 2 years for now....i read that article about Miles from Phil Rogers, Miles is a winner...but in a season we are still in fighting for postseason he is not the answer. D'angelo with his .OBP% and Graffy playing few games that's what i like.

geez us......wtf is your problem brando..........i gave my opinion and if you dont like it then shove it up your ass... you dont have to go on about stupid s*** that doesnt have anything to do with the question at hand.......just because you have a jimenez love fest going on doesnt mean that other people dont have likes for other players.....jimenez is an asshole plain and simple and had it not been for the fact that he is one of kw's boys he wouldnt be here right now trying to play second base.......if jm had it his way miles would be here doing a better job............miles is most likely the shake up in the lineup we need... and he is a SWITCH hitter which is something jimenez just cant do..........thus making his value more needed...............

Just a little FYI, for those who trash Jimenez' defense, Miles comitted 26 Error's last season.

 

And another FYI, for those who trash Jimenez' swith hitting abilty as a Lefty he's batting .293, and as a Righty he's batting .360
