I'm not surprised at all that he could possibly be like that. Heck, if you believe half of what Julian Lennon has to say, John was a prick.

What was the famous civil rights activist who once said: A woman's position in our movement is prone. I wish I could remember his name. Some big "peace, love and equality" hypocrit.

He always maintained he was joking. Like all such jokes, I guess, whether or not you think it’s funny depends on ... who’s on top.

I really dislike generalities, and stereotypes, but let me toss this out. The closer one comes to being a genius in science or the arts, the more likely the person has some serious flaws.
