I have read Sox talk for a long time but recently joined in case I ever wanted to add anything. It is making me weary reading all these if we just do this then Cleveland has to do this and if this happens then that happens. Bottom line is we have a five game lead but more importantly a 6 game lead in the loss colum.At this point in the season that is the number that matters. all the sox need to do is worry about them selves and that is all you all need to do as well. Don't worry about Cleveland and get scared that they will catch us. If they do and win the division chances are we win the wild card and are still in the playoffs. If anyone would have told me in the spring that the Sox would have a 5 game lead at this point I would have taken it. I don't give a whoot about what Cleveland does, that shouldn't be our concern. If the Sox take care of business, than we have nothing to worry about and if they don't, they don't have anyone to blame but themselves. So are you also a Hawkeye and Fighting Irish fan??? I loved it bofre the 2 road wins to start the season. I lived in iowa for about 6 years and yes the Hawkeyes grew on me. Big time fan now. Everyone needs to just relax... The way they have played for the past month and a half is the reason most of us are not relaxed. Of course, they control their own destiny but things haven't looked too good for awhile as that 15 game lead has shrunk to 5.
