It was a great game

I am totally satisfied with how the White Sox played last night. Down by four against the American League ERA leader they battled and fought and scratched their way back, even took a lead. They still didn't lay down, after the Indians took the lead back, added an insurance run and trotted in the league save leader, the game still ended with the winning run at the plate.

 

I wanted a win as much as anyone else but that was one great game, tip your hat to the Indians. If the Sox finish up playing like this I, for one, will remain a proud White Sox fan.

Yes, I was quite happy with the way the fought back after looking kinda dead. Dissapointing that they couldn't hold on though.

 

Ah well, we can still win the next two, and have gained a game through the series.

We DID look better in some aspects of the game last night. Rallying from a 4-0 deficit got lost in all the emotion. In the Twins series and in yesterday's game, there were at least signs of life on this team.

Starting pitching has to be dominant once again.

I too was proud to see the boys battle back. It goes to show all of those who are preaching about the Sox quitting and all of that garbage were dead on wrong. The biggest problem we had yesterday was Freddy Garcia's refusal to work to the inside corner, and a complete failure of the bullpen from Marte to Jenks to Hermanson.

It was a good game but it was very depressing after Marte got the 2nd out to see Jenks come in and give up that single. Also than we had a leadoff double by Ozuna and Dye failed to move him over which would of tied it at that time..

 

Oh well I think most people expected us to lose that game we should have the pitching advantage these 2 games.

Poncino's refusal to call the inside strike contributed. He did it all night to both teams so no sour grapes, but if Freddy had gotten a couple calls I think he would have gone back in more often.

It was electric last night. I had a blast and enjoyed a great game. I wish the outcome would have been different. Still wondering wtf is up with marte..pffft.. and also wht the f-uck was ronnie woo woo in the bleachers!! Why do they let him in?LOL!

One of the best games I've seen recently. I got chilled when Konerko knocked home 2 runs! After Marte retired a second out, and Jenks came in, I really tasted the win. Sadly, it didn't turn out that way. Nevertheless, it was a great game to watch. Even my wife got into it!

And that's what hurt Beck. If Garcia was on his game last night, we could have won the game. What has happened to him and Buehrle lately? If the Sox collapse, I will NEVER forget the two games at KC that we lost. Garcia had 9 runs and lost! Buehrle had 5 runs and lost! If we could have won those two games, we would not be in this tough situation. Anyway, that's the past. Let's go Buehrle! Take home the W tonight.
