The yanks always look for ways to blame their own problems on someone else. For example when they lost the last game of the season the Red Sox, in which a win would have given them home field advantage against the angels. Instead of taking the blame they blamed the rangers for puting their scrubs in there. It is that same thing in this situation. If they would have swept the angels like the sox did to the red sox, there would be no problem and nothing to b**** about.

Screw the Red Sox and f*** the Yanks...this is our year

Wilbon just hates the Yankees and Red Sox, which makes him better than most of ESPN.

Steinbrenner should be more worried about his 200 million or whatever it is that couldn't even win a playoff series than something that might affect the Angels chances against the Sox.
