Mobile (Cell) phone wallpaper

Featured Replies

I got a new mobile phone (cell phone?) yesterday and was trying to get a Sox logo for it's wallpaper. Well call me tight but I didn't want to pay $2.99 for it.

As I'm able to send/recieve emails with the phone I made this one, emailed it to myself and saved it to my images in the phone, hey presto free wallpapers!

I've posted it here for anyone who wants it, if you can use it and want more, let me know and I'll do some others.

Any idea how you determine the email address associated with your phone?

My phone just needed registering with my mobile phone service provider on the web. I input my email address and now I can access/send my emails via my phone. You probably need an up to date phone or it could be just a British thing.

I've got a V3 Razr, so I'm pretty sure the phone can do the email thing.

Mine is even more ghetto. I just took a picture of the Sox logo on my hat and made it the background.

aboz, just send yourself an email from your phone to you regular email address then look at the sender info. It should give you the address.

It works well, and it's free.

Me too!

Pictures of TV images, pictures from the computer screen, pictures of pictures...works just fine for me. I don't have e-mail capabilities, so if I'm bored and see something I'd like as a wallpaper, I'll just take a picture of it. :P

Here is a good one

Good logo, but it's showing up very pixelated right there.

Here's a cleaner one.

I have no idea why it showed up so grainy like that. Same file that's on my phone and it's crystal clear....

Not a problem. I just wanted to get a clear one up, in case people were looking to add it to their's. My phone's not that cool, I'm stuck with the date and time for my wallpaper.
