Random
10) Weakest link: If you're Phil Garner, which opposing hitter do you MOST want to see at the plate with the game on the line? 30.6% Juan Uribe 19.8% Aaron Rowand 13.1% Carl Everett 9.0% Tadahito Iguchi 7.5% Scott Podsednik 5.9% A.J. Pierzynski 5.1% Joe Crede 5.0% Jermaine Dye 4.1% Paul Konerko http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation...g?event_id=1703 SEEMS LIKE CREDE HAS GONE DOWN A BIT FROM THE ALCS!!!! Colorado Sox Fan
I'd move Juan way down and Dye way up on that list. Pods should be closer to the top, too.
Random
QUOTE(Colorado Sox Fan @ Oct 20, 2005 -> 06:08 PM) I'd move Juan way down and Dye way up on that list. Pods should be closer to the top, too. from most clutch to least. Crede Konerko Iguchi Rowand A.J. Uribe Crazy Carl Jermaine Pods this however, is after the ALCS, because if it was any time before, Konerko would be way further down. DonkeyKongerko
Haha Crede sure silenced his pre-ALCS critics.
Punch and Judy Garland
I listed Rowand but it's hard to say. I guess the Pods one is a good point, but at least he can squeeze or avoid double-plays. I guess Carl is a good choice because he is hitting with NO power right now. He's turned into a slow, defensive liability singles hitter. I think we lose little when we lose the DH. I do worry about our pitchers executing sacrifices which their guys can do well. knightni
I voted Everett. But it was a close call between him and Pods.

3E8
The funny thing is, on THT's clutch rating, Konerko is the least clutch on the team and Podsednik is third least clutch on the team.
