October 21, 200520 yr Does anybody know if Comcast or anybody will be doing pregame stuff tomorrow, and if so at what time? If they could do batting practice before the Sox/Cubs games, I would expect they would do SOMETHING tomorrow. Why hasn't ESPN done a Sox History special like they have done for the Yankees and everybody else? I know...I know...East Coast biased and all that bunk, but still, it would be a really cool special. Again, it would give me something to watch in the meantime. I don't know about you lot, but I need coverage to start TONIGHT just to settle these nerves a bit. I need this stuff to start right now, and if I had coverage until tomorrow night, I could trick myself into believing it has started already.
October 21, 200520 yr Brooks said yesterday FOX starts at 6:30 and Comcast will have a special 30 minutes before that. Possibly WGN something earlier, but I assume they make their programming decisions independant of the Sox. Hopefully they'll just have an open feed starting when the park opens at 4:30.
October 21, 200520 yr They had a small history snippet yesterday (it was on while I was in the gym). It was short, but more than I expected lol. I hope someone shows the pregame stuff - I would like to be able to see that.
October 21, 200520 yr Author I really, really, really want to see the first pitch thrown, and not in news highlights.

October 21, 200520 yr QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Oct 21, 2005 -> 10:48 AM) Comcast 5:30 WGN has a special TONIGHT at 6:30 Why can't they wait until 8 dang it? Oh well, at least they are doing something.
October 21, 200520 yr Author QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Oct 21, 2005 -> 10:53 AM) Well, I think the more this thing rolls on (and yes, even after the Series is done) people will start to realize that there is an interesting history to the White Sox. Heck, it did spawn 2 movies. How many movies are there on the Cubs? Heck, actually, wasn't the "evil" team in Major League the White Sox? Give us three movies we have been in! But only 2 dealing with the actual history. Oh...wait...Wrigley was used in A League Of Their Own...so that explains who the real star over there is.
October 21, 200520 yr Friday, October 21 2005 Sox in the Series 6:30 PM :: Channel 9 WGN 30 mins. A preview of the World Series. Also: White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen discusses his baseball career and owner Jerry Reinsdorf talks about running the team. Hosted by Dan Roan and Allison Payne.
