October 27, 200520 yr I stood up, grabbed my beer, took a swig, puffed my smoke and smiled. I was speechless for a good 5 minutes. This was the most amazing/fun sports moment of my life. Thank you White Sox for doing what we all thought you would.
October 27, 200520 yr I sat there...listened to the Astros fans pulling for that ball to make it up the middle or die in front of Uribe. Hearing them scream, "C'MON! C'MON!!" Uribe picks up the ball, transfers it to his throwing hand, guns it over to Paulie...waiting...waiting...waiting...umpire punches him out and I stand up, raise both arms and SCREAM: YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Then I realize I'm the only one in the bar rooting for the Sox. Man, I miss Chicago.

October 27, 200520 yr I'll never forget it. My stepfather and I slapped hands and for, I believe, the second or third time ever in the 11 years he's been married to my mother, we hugged each other. And then we jumped up and down. Magic.
October 27, 200520 yr I watched the game with my 4 kids. With the final out we all jumped up and yelled for a bit, did high fives and then a group hug. We shot silly string around and then toasted each other with Mt. Dew. It was a blast. Plenty of teary eyes. We then calmed down a bit and watched all the postgame stuff.
