October 27, 200520 yr I just wanted to say thanks for being around to make this a magical season. Even tho maybe i don't agree with some of you and maybe i've been an asshole sometimes. I wanted to say thanks. Thanks for letting me in. And i CRIED Cause The first thing i said Damn i got to see it, then i huged my mother, who was the person who taguht me to be a fan of this team through bad and good. She cried cause of her father, he was a bigtime fan and died in 1982. This one is for you gramps, even tho you didn't get to see me turn into a man. I cried cause i got my grilfriend to follow even tho she didn't know s*** about baseball, she's willing to learn, cause she says she's my woman and she told me WE WON!. I cried cause it's maybe the only time i'll get to live this. I cried cause none of my friends thought the sox were good enough to win it all. I cried cause i'm far from home and didn't see it in person. I cried cause all of you guys who have let me in, with all of my grammar errors and maybe different opinion have offered me your friendship over this board and support for me being far. So to all of you and Grampa Steve, who is somewhere in heaven i say THANKS and... GO SOX!
October 27, 200520 yr I know my grampa did what he could from above to help this team. Since he couldn't be here for my wedding, he is giving me the best gift ever - a story for the ages. That was the one big thing I adored about my grampa - all the stories he had to tell. Now I have a huge story of my own. This is for you Gramma and Grampa!!!
October 27, 200520 yr Cheers to that - it was an emotional win for all of us. We share it with everyone from our past and our present. I never want to forget this moment..... Cheers to all those Sox fans in the past that never got to experience a White Sox World Series WIN! I'd love to share a beer with everyone of them tonight.....
