October 27, 200520 yr If you got choked up and was close to crying - that counts. I did. My wife and my buddy's wife were teasing me. I didn't care. I've seen my favorite football team win back to back Super Bowls (Broncos), I've seen the Bulls win championships, I've seen IU win a National title. Nothing compares to this and how I feel about it, nothing!
October 27, 200520 yr Yes, insofar as my eyes welled up. It has happened a few times during this series. It is happening a little bit now as I type. SFF Edited October 27, 200520 yr by SpringfieldFan
October 27, 200520 yr I cried like a little girl for about 10 minutes. And I'm not ashamed of that one bit. Besides, Girls dig guys who show their emotions.
October 27, 200520 yr I did . Yes, I know I'm a girl and it is expected of me, but I felt so close to the team this year and to see them so emotional was like they were part of my family. Probably sounds really stupid - but I think those guys are great and I wanted nothing more than to see the White Sox make believers of all the naysayers and they did it in outstanding fashion! (I cried when the Bears lost to Miami during the 85 season too - so maybe I get too emotionally attached to these athletes!).
October 27, 200520 yr Cried. Closest thing I came to this was 98 when Bulls won it and Jordan's shot.
