That's the Cubs there in that pic kids.

Uhhh, the Tribune ran that after the Cubs defeated the Braves. The Cubs waited 95 years for a postseason series victory!!!!!!!

 

I really got out of Cub fans grasping to that "argument" before the Sox's run. I told them "but wouldn't you rather be known as the last Chicago team to in a pennant or a World Series?"

 

Postseason series victories are meaningless unless you at least bring home a pennant.

Yeah, 2003-95=1908. It's an actual story from the Tribune. Why they chose to use that one on the faq page...hmm i wonder.

 

About time they update it to the story of a real team actually accomplishing something worth the wait of 88 years.
