Still no one has explained what the deal with Pentangeli was in Godfather 2. I could never figure out that scene in the bar. I gotta watch it again.

What bar scene is this, and what happened which you don't understand? Your description is so obsure.

Growing up in Little Italy with lots of "uncles" was nothing like that.

Nothing. I assure you. :D

The trilogy has to be considered amongst the best films ever made...absolutely amazing, brilliant cinema.

Yah I'm going to have to watch it again first before asking.

I think I know what part you're talking about. When Frankie is in the bar and as the Rosatos are choking him, they say "Michael Corleone says hello". That was kind of confusing because IIRC Mike sent Frank there to keep the peace with Roth, but Roth planned on killing Frankie and making it look like it was Mike's idea. I guess they wanted him to die thinking his friend Mike double crossed him. Those mafia funsters!! It's been years since I've seen it but I think that's the general idea.

Part II was different. I liked it a lot because of the De Niro flash backs. so far I still like the first one best.

I love The Godfather :notworthy I've wathced it sooo many times, have the VHS and DVD collections, book, watch it everytime it's on TV, NEVER GETS OLD. My personal favorite is the first one. I've heard people proclaim the 2nd one as the best one, top notch as well. Spike TV (I think) showed The Godfather Saga, which was cool since they put together the 1st 2 movies and put the events in chronological order, there were also a lot of extra scenes in there that you normally wouldn't seen. As for the 3rd, as others have said, it's a disgrace if compared to the first two, but it's not as bad on its own as some exaggerate.
