    The choking game...

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 08:26 AM) I thought that the deal was that kids were....you know.....when they did this because it felt better. I wasn't aware people choked themselves for fun these days. IIRC, I think George Carlin had a segment in his latest HBO show about that. Seems to be more common than people think. Choking ones self whilst choking the chicken and then trying to "time" the corresponding "feelings"................

    Soprano's Sunday...

QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Mar 20, 2006 -> 12:41 PM) I was trying ot figure out who he was talking to....It was Charmaine. Interesting. I liked the episode. I think the coming weeks are going to be awesome. Just an FYI From an article in the Star Ledger (jersey) The voice of Purgatory Tony's wife wasn't played by Annabella Sciorra, or any other actress who's been on the show before; she's just a generic non-Carmela female voice.
  8. Can't Britney just send him to his room for about 20 years? I never thought she'd be the less offensive one of the family.
  9. Hell, for a million bucks, I would have let her whoop my ass in front of one of the cameras. Seriously though, I think all sides were wrong. I'd throw the case out of court.
  10. I got my mouth taped once in school, and I had terrible allergies. If my nose was plugged up at the time I would not have been able to breathe. I also got rulered a few times, but that was a long time ago and wasn't really a big deal. It was either that or write something out 500 times on a piece of paper, which sucked too. I would NOT want to be a teacher today. A lot of parents want teachers to basically "raise" their kids for them but without the threat of discipline. It's a bad cycle in some instances.
  11. Well, the SOX website MAY be wrong. IIRC when the Sox reacauired Everett the 39th time, they had him listed as wearing #2, which obviously is retired.
  12. Some people have no business raising animals, let alone children. I HOPE the mother was just having a bad day (albeit, a REAL bad day), and that this wasn't the norm. Sadly, since this took place in public, (where you would think she would use some restraint), I'm probably wrong. I was stopped at a red light once and across the street to my right I saw a little kid, by herself, running towards the street. The mother, ambling behind her at about 30 paces, just stands there. Finally when it looked like the kid was going to run into the street, the mother runs up, grabs her and smacked her in he ass for almost running in the street. I yelled at her out the window "maybe if you were paying attention nothing would have happened you stupid b****". I felt like getting out of my car and giving her the same treatment but I would have been the goof to get arrested. Plus she was off to my right and it was a one way street going the other way. Sad.
  13. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Nov 17, 2005 -> 07:44 PM) Yah I'm going to have to watch it again first before asking. I think I know what part you're talking about. When Frankie is in the bar and as the Rosatos are choking him, they say "Michael Corleone says hello". That was kind of confusing because IIRC Mike sent Frank there to keep the peace with Roth, but Roth planned on killing Frankie and making it look like it was Mike's idea. I guess they wanted him to die thinking his friend Mike double crossed him. Those mafia funsters!! It's been years since I've seen it but I think that's the general idea.
  14. I don't know. Of course part 3 pales in comparison to 1 and 2, and it isn't fair to put them in the same category. That said, I think it stunk even as a stand alone movie. I just don't see any entertainment value in the Vatican. It was like Sopranos season 4 meets Exorcist II the Heretic. Awful IMO.
  15. QUOTE(Steff @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 11:49 AM) It wasn't. And had nothing to do with the banter above. Misunderstanding... that's all. Sounds good to me. No hard feelings on my part.
