November 29, 200520 yr that would be the worse thing possible for us to do. He already had a late start to stunt his growth even more by not giving him consistent playing time would be bad for Owens. Either he is a starter in the majors or a starter in the minors.
November 29, 200520 yr Owens needs AAA AB's. He's not MLB ready for 2006. Owens did hit .500 as a CF this past year though. 2-4

December 5, 200520 yr everyeone says Jerry Owens can contribute to the team this year, and i agree. He can and he will just watch, but i think he coulda contributated last year. Guillen said he was looking for someone with speed when Scotty went on the DL but he kept playin Timo and he also said he didn't want to play Jerry Owens because "he played in Double A" But now this year hes probably going to end up on the roster without even playin in Triple A

Replayed it like a dozen times...their reactions are just absolutely freaking classic. BA with the "OH MY GOD!", Rowand responds with "No way, No, No Way" and then the ball lands. His voice is all sqeaking when he yells it too. I remember saying the exact same thing A-row was saying when it happened.
