My roomate showed me this and I thought it was pretty cool. You can type in the name of a song or artist and it will play that song or songs by that artist plus similar songs. It's pretty interesting how they detect what songs are similar and best of all it's free.

wow, very slick looking. Looks very promising.

Thanks for posting :headbang

Launch was good before yahoo took it over and I used to use a sited called echo.com, but that went under.

I've been looking for something similar, hopefully this is it.

There was a thread on this a while back. I believe it was hi8is who introduced it. Really cool. It's kida like Tivo...it'll play the stuff you want.

great site thanks

Cool site, but I don't like the songs they suggest unfortunately.

Some were good for me, some were bad. I set a playlist up for my wife based on The Killers, and the first song that was played after the Killers was New Order, "60 miles and hour". Now I love New Order, and I really like their newer stuff, but my wife didnt see a connection, and didnt really like the choice. It is definitely interesting though. I think it helps alot if you tell the "radio" which songs you like and which you didnt, so they can make a better database.

That is a kick ass site. I'm so exploring that more when I get home to my music system. Thanks!

the more you listen and the more you tell it what songs you like and don't like, the smarter it gets.

I used it over the weekend and really enjoyed it.

I remember hearing about this a while back but I never visited the site to check it out. Thanks for reminding me so I can waste more of my time.
