I just read in the Trib that Colon and Manuel can't even be in the ballpark once the games start when they are suspended. BTW has anyone heard if Colon is going to appeal his suspension?

Because he intentionally did it AFTER he was warned. He knew what would happen. He took one for the team. End of story.

Still it seems like everyone appeals their suspensions no matter what the circumstances. And most of the time they seem to get reduced.

I dunno. Seemed to me with his reaction after he hit Jerry that he just wanted to do it and be done with it. No fan fair. Fighting it would make more news about it.

Hey, good for Bartolo... it won't be overturned anyway, so why appeal? He'll start one day later and have gained his team's respect for taking standing up for Maggs and taking the punishment like a man.

I agree. And we had this off day in the middle of it, so it doesn't screw up the rest of the rotation.
