NEW YORK (CNN) -- Jeanine Pirro, the longtime prosecutor who had been set to run against Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton next year, has decided to drop out of the U.S. Senate race in New York, she announced Wednesday.

 

Pirro instead will run for state attorney general.

Maybe they are looking for a vet with no legs to run against Hillary Clinton.

Pirro was pretty much a laughingstock anyway. It was one misstep after another her whole campaign. And stupid stuff, like inadvertently insulting her host at a fundraiser, forgetting to show up to things, etc...

pirro never stood a chance. she had so many gaffs it was unbelievable. it's pretty much hopeless for the GOP in NY state.
