Snow in Boston?

Featured Replies

The Red Sox nonetheless were awaiting word last night regarding their pursuit of first baseman J.T. Snow.

According to Dan Horwits, who represents Snow, the player and agent were hoping to decide on a new team before the end of this week. Horwits said earlier in the week that as many as four teams were interested in his client, including the Red Sox.

Makes sense with Kevin Youklis currently the Red Sox's first baseman, but then they could also move Mike Lowell to first base and allow Andy Marte to start at third straight away.

So they've got to figure out something there still.

Just what the Red Sox need...another guy who can't play SS or CF.

i like snow as a platoon with youkilis at first. i want this one to be finalized.

I'm not a Youkalis fan.
