KW on XM MLB 175

Featured Replies

So did anyone get to hear the KW interview on XM Satellite Radio MLB 175? For those of you who are out of market like myself I would highly recommend getting it. Complete coverage pre & post game. + all the offseason. + all season games.

MLB.com has all of the regular season games radio broadcasts for much less, maybe free, I can't remember. I definitely wouldn't recommend getting XM just for that.

XM Channel 175=God

A must get.

Of course it will consume your life. I carry my portable XM radio around the house with me constantly just because of it.

Unless you wanted to leave your house or something.

Yes. I received XM for :santa and it is great.

Being out east, I never get to listen to the radio about what KW, Ozzie or and Sox news. I only read about what going on or interviews in Soxtalk or from the paper, (the paper never gives you the whole store). Hearing KW today on XM was great and makes me feel that we have one of the best GM in the game. XM is outstanding; I listened to three different segments about how great the Sox are going to be this year.

mlb.com offers all the games for about 15.99 a year. however they dont have a dedicated 24/7/365 MLB show like XM does. i have done both. mlb.tv is great for out of town TV viewership. that is a monthly charge as well. i love it as well!

So what I am hearing is that XM radio is really a good thing for us out of the Chicago TV area (except for WGN on cable)? I have considered buying me that there new fangled contraption to listen to Sox games. Please tell me it's the right thing to do if you want to hear all games during the season.

I heard the interview last night on the replay. It was solid. Kenny really made an impression on the host (Kevin Kennedy and Rob Dibble) After the interview they praised Kenny and Ozzie for not just giving the company line and telling it like it is.

I bought it last year and liked it alot. I got the portable one that you can use in your home, car, or on its own with a rechargable battery. I didn't even have to miss anything when I walked my dog. One cool thing about it is that it actually transmits a signal that you tune in on your radio. Last summer a group of us took a little road trip in 2 cars and the car following us was able to tune in the XM also. I didn't really use it that much after the baseball season ended, but you can subscribe monthly, so you don't have to pay for service if you're not using it.

I also received a portable XM radio for Christmas. I love MLB 175 and Extreme XM 152.

Thanks and to you too WTell. I think as the season gets closer I will make that purchase. The prices look pretty good too.

Sirius is a better buy. More total sports plus Howard Stern. XM only has one thing going for it, MLB, that is it.

Oh no problem. I have the XM 2 Go which is a portable one where you put take it wherever. XM has a lot of talk show stations which I love. I don't think you can go wrong with either XM or Sirius, it just depends on your interest.

Oh yeah, how could I forget. It is so interesting to watch cars go in circles on TV and in person. I can't believe how intersting and exciting it could actually be to listen to in on the radio. Really, come on, a NASCAR radio channel? Does the WWE have their own radio channel too?

Well Nascar is a huge sport these days and yes it is very exciting to watch in person of course most northern people do not understand the sport because most of the tracks are here in the great south.

XM has hockey for the Northerners or any hockey lover.

Did I ever mention how much I love the "Is Nascar a sport?" debate?

If you want to listen to Stern, get Sirius. If you want to listen to the Sox or real baseball coverage (not just east coast) get XM.
