January 28, 200620 yr I will be attending the following games this year: 4/4 vs CLE RING DAY! 5/4 vs SEA BOO JEREMY REED DAY 5/24 vs OAK BOO FRANK DAY 6/7 vs DET BOO MAGGLIO DAY ( no green ) 6/21 vs STL my 2 favorite teams!!! 7/21 vs TEX a MONTH between games? AGAIN???I think I'm gonna need a fix before that! 8/12 vs DET BOO MAGGS #2 9/18 vs DET I'll be bored with booing Magglio by then... 9/24 vs SEA the last home game, usually Fan Appreciation Day I am VERY happy with the way the draft turned out for me! Yeah, but the Cleveland games were mostly weekends. The Friday and Saturday Tribe games were gobbled up while I was grabbing Ring Day, the A's and Cardinals, so I was left with Sundays to choose from. I work Sunday nights, so it didn't work out for me.
January 28, 200620 yr The eight guys in our group picked Wednesday. With two little kids, weeknights after work were best for me so I will help fill the coffers Tues-Thurs primarily. I made a good pact with another member of the group that if we got first pick we would take opening day and share the game. Worked out great, he got first pick, I got second. So we will be going to both opening day and the first Sox-Cards game together. Trying to work out a deal to go to a Houston game with him as well but he is driving a harder bargain on that one. The only thing I have to offer is closing day against the M's and Elvis night on 8/11 against the Tigers.
