The money quote(for me, at least):

 

Reinsdorf liked the idea of winning. He also believes that winning can be profitable because it means selling more tickets, suites, sponsorships and merchandise.

 

This is where it gets complicated. Does spending more money guarantee the White Sox will win another championship? No, it doesn't. On the first day of spring training, they're probably not even as good as the Yankees or Red Sox.

So the article is saying that the Astros are better than the Sox, Yankees, and Red Sox because they don't make moves? I don't get it. Maybe the Astros should play in the AL.

Or maybe he could bother looking at the rosters of the Yankees and Red Sox and tell me where they are better.

 

I hate it when someone throws facts in my face.

 

Think this happens a lot?
