Bulls vs TWolves

Good game by the Bulls, regardless of what Casey was doing.  Has there been any word on Malik Allen's neck and Chris Duhon's (glass) jaw?

Day to day on both of them. But then again, aren't we all?

Bulls forward Malik Allen spent the night in a hospital after spraining his neck against Minnesota and being carted off the court. He is listed as day to day.

Guard Chris Duhon is also day to day with a bruised jaw after taking a shot to the face during Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves. Chicago hosts Cleveland on Thursday.

Allen was injured 20 seconds into the second quarter, rotating to defend Rashad McCants on a drive. As he fell backward, Allen's head banged into teammate Darius Songaila's shin.

Allen's neck was immobilized, and as he left the court he moved his arms and raised a fist. He was taken to Rush University Medical Center, where he underwent a CAT scan, MRI and neurological exam.

In his second start this season, Allen was having perhaps his best game. He had 10 points at the time of the injury and had scored on a dunk seconds earlier.

Minutes after Allen was injured, Duhon found himself lying face down under the Timberwolves' basket. After being elbowed in the jaw by Ben Gordon the previous day in practice, Duhon took an elbow or forearm to the face when he tried to take a charge against Minnesota's Justin Reed with 6:16 left in the half.

Duhon stayed down for a few minutes, and held a towel to his face as he walked to the locker room with the Bulls' trainers. He sat on the sideline in the second half, and did not return to the game.
